RFGN | Homosexuality is not a choice

Although we can choose whether to act on our feelings, psychologists do not consider sexual orientation to be a conscious choice that can be voluntarily changed.
What causes a person to have a particular sexual orientation?
There is no consensus among scientists about the exact reasons that an individual develops a heterosexual, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, queer, asexual, pansexual orientation. Although much research has examined the possible genetic, hormonal, developmental, social and cultural influences on sexual orientation, no findings have emerged that permit scientists to conclude that sexual orientation is determined by any particular factor or factors. Many think that nature and nurture both play complex roles; most people experience little or no sense of choice about their sexual orientation.

Very true. People are born with set tendencies. You may behave according to prevalent normal but the born inclination never go away and keep simmering inside.
That’s true, I can confirm what you said by experience.
Nice to know that you have created this website. Great

Thank you for saying it loud and creating awareness about the most important aspect of the struggle of the LGBTQ community. Scientific evidence has proved that sexual orientation is part of our biology and members of our community have no discretion to decide their sexual orientation. If the society will accept this reality then it will be easirer for them to accept the members of LGBTQ community.
